Blue Zucchini & Company

     Are you looking for a cozy dine-in, southern style restaurant? Blue Zucchini & Company is the place to go. They have a similar Panera/coffee shop atmosphere. They offer burgers, sandwiches, seafood, soups, salads, several different appetizers, a children's menu and sweets. They also offer wine options. In the front of the restaurant, it is set up like a mini store providing beer, wine, soft drinks, homemade food and pastries, and a variety of apparel.

     It has a very comfortable, yet alive feel; abstract furniture and decorations are hung all throughout the room. Eccentric mirrors, art, and tapestries give it a unique flavor. Calm and neutral colors paint the walls making the experience feel relaxing and warm.

It is small, but offers a great variety of cuisines and delights. It is a dine-in restaurant with the option to take out as well. To take it a step further, you also have the option to use their catering service. All menu items are available and either Cory Carlisle or an in-store manager will be happy to customize your lunch/dinner party.
     I have personally been there a number of times now and have never had a bad experience. The servers are more than pleasant and the food comes out in a timely fashion. The seating is comfortable and the setting is perfect for a day when you are craving a homemade bowl of chicken pot pie.

Blue Zucchini & Company gives you a feeling of ease and contentment and I believe that is what makes for a great restaurant. I must not be the only one who thinks so because they were recently voted Best "New Restaurant" of the Southern Triad for 2013.
