Jumoka Cafe & Bakery

Jumoka Cafe & Bakery is fairly new to the High Point area. Randy and Judy, the owners of Jumoka started this franchise over fourteen years ago when they opened up Cindy's Cinnamon Rolls. They had such a large fan base and decided they wanted to share more of their family's homemade baked goods. All of their different pastries are prepared in house from family recipes that have been passed down through the generations.

The name Jumoka came from a mix of ideas. In their blog, Randy writes, "There was a tree that was called the JuJu tree. They came back and wanted to possibly use that name because her name was Judy. Well it opened up the door to use just the "Ju" of her name and we knew she liked a good Mocha so Judy's Mocha (Jumoka) became the name of our dream coffee shop."

Previously known for solely their cinnamon rolls, Jumoka now offers many other things for their customers to enjoy. They have all-natural protein fruit smoothies, iced and gourmet coffees, and their homemade baked goods. They make their coffees with flavorful expresso shots, local ingredients, and the highest quality beans. Because they use local suppliers, their coffee is brewed in house or locally.

Along the walls, local artists are showcased. Kaylin Bowers Photography and various Christian academies cover the cafe to give it a more homey feel. The atmosphere is calming and warm. It gives its customers a more relaxing environment to spend time in.
